Solve water, sanitation problems on priority: Civic chief
Municipal Corporation in-charge Commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy directed the officials to solve petitions received at Meekosam within the stipulated time and give priority to drinking water and sanitation related problems.
Guntur: Municipal Corporation in-charge Commissioner K Ramachandra Reddy directed the officials to solve petitions received at Meekosam within the stipulated time and give priority to drinking water and sanitation related problems.
He conducted Meekosam at the GMC office on Monday.Speaking on the occasion, he said that the GMC was conducting the Meekosam programme every Monday, and urged the people to avail the programme to solve their grievance relating to the civic problems.
He said that under the Meekosam initiative, the people may directly interact with the officials and solve their problems. The authorities received 23 petitions relating to various departments and the same had been forwarded to the concerned departments to solve problems. He also directed them to solve pending petitions also.
Deputy Commissioner D Srinivasa Rao, Public Health Officer Sobharani and other engineering officials were present.
