Krishna dist secures 2nd place in judo championship
Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, handed over the runner up trophy of Senior Inter-District Judo Championship-2018, to Krishna district team for securing all round second place on Sunday. Earlier, the three-day judo championship started at Narsaraopet in Guntur district on March 2, according to Krishna District Judo Association organising secretary ML Usha Rani.

Winners in Men Category: E Srinu 60kg category, LSSV Prasad 66 kg, D Ashok Kumar 81 kg, GC Nikhil 90 kg, Sk Afnan Naveed and Sk Naveen 100 kg. Winners Women Category: P Haritha 48 kg category, M Nagadurga 52 kg, A Lalitha Kumari 63 kg, S Aruna Kumari and ML Usha Rani 78 kg.
AP Judo Association president and joint-secretary of Judo Federation of India Venkat Namisetty, Krishna District Judo Association president GV Rama Rao and chairman Ch Madhu Babu congratulated the winners and wished them to win more medals at the national level.
