Vocal concert soaks music lovers in ragas
Sri Subrahmanya Mahati Sangeeta Samiti organised a vocal concert of TM Krishna on Saturday evening at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.

Thodur Madabhusi Krishna commenced the vocal concert with Muttuswamy Deekshitar krithi ‘Vatapi Ganapatim Bhajeham’ in Hamsadwani ragam. Krishna also rendered the Thyagarajaswamy keerthana “Nadachi nadachi’ in Kharahara priya ragam, “Mate Malayadwhja” in Khamas raga, “Omkara Karini” in Lavangi ragam.
Though Madabhusi’s rendition was traditional, it was also very soft, pleasant and comfortable. With his rich experience in music arena, the music lovers gathered in the auditorium were soaked in the ragas rendered by Krishna.
The concert was supported by RK Sriram Kumar (Chennai) on violin and VV Ramana Murthy (Visakhapatnam) on mridangam.
