Anantapuram: The Samaikyandhra protestors have intensified the agitation as a result of Cabinet Committee approval to bifurcate the State of Andhra Pradesh. In Ramachandra Nagar the protestors blocked the railway track by sitting on the track, to show their dissent.
They even tried to take away the railway track. The local police carried out a lathi charge. Responding to the lathi charge, the people involved in the agitation started throwing the stones on the police.
The agitators have been hooting slogans against KCR and Sonia Gandhi. They said the state bifurcation decision has been taken in a political interest. They blamed the Seemandhra leaders for this situation in Andhra Pradesh.
