Kapus To Decide Parties' Fortunes In Elections?, Congress, YSRCP, TDP, Reddy And Kapu Communities. Elections are not far away. And all eyes are on Andhra Pradesh which has become the hub of political activities. Particularly for Congress for whom the fortunes of the party is at stake in Andhra Pradesh, it's going to be a do or die situation.

However, back home the scene is entirely different. The war in the upcoming elections will not be between Congress and TDP or TDP Vs Congress or any other parties. The toughest battle will be between the Reddy and Kapu communities. Of course, this was always the case during every elections. However, this time it will be a strong fight ever in the history of politics.
If the war is between the Reddys and Chaudhrys, what happens to the Kapu Community leaders?
Well, when Chiranjeevi launched the Praja Rajyam Party, there was a ray of hope for the Kapus who hoped to get some mileage. Unfortunately, they were betrayed. Be it at the time of allocating seats or even at the time of selecting candidates, the mega star turned politician gave leaders from his community a royal ignore.
So, the kapu community supported Congress' YS Rajasekhara Reddy in the state.
Observers feel that the kapus have distanced themselves from TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu as they have lost all hopes on him.
Now, their only hope seems to be YSR's son and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. They don't want to take another chance supporting Chiranjeevi. Presently, it's a force called 'Jagan' that enjoys a huge fan following and immense support from across the state. So they have no choice but to place their faith in him. Switching loyalites from Reddy and Khamma communities has already began in different parties.
The latest is Congress senior leader Rayapati Sambasiva Rao who met Chandrababu Naidu to express his solidarity. The war tradition between Reddy and the Khamma community has always been there. But the party's victory depends on the support from the Kapu community as they constitute majority of voters in the Seemandhra region.
What about Botsa Satyanarayana?
Analysts feel that Botsa will stay mum. There are reports that if the Congress party comes back to power in AP, they will give give Botsa the Governor's post for his loyalty.
