HansIndia had reported that the MPs were planning to re-submit their resignations. Now, the latest we hear is that Seemandhra Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal from Vijayawada has taken the lead.
He submitted his resignation to Speaker Meira Kumar.
He handed over his resignation to the Secretary general as Speaker is on tour.
Speaking to reporters after submitting his resignation, Lagadapati asserted that he was not under pressure to resign.
There are also reports of Vundavalli Arun Kumar submitting his resignation.
