Volvo victims carry out protest near Botsa’s residence

Hyderabad: Families of the victims of recent Volvo mishap at Palem in Mahabubnagar attacked the transport minister, Botsa Satyanarayana on Saturday.

They attacked his residence, as no promise made by the government after the mishap has been even initiated by the government. They demanded for the resignation of Botsa and questioned him whether he would behave in the same manner, if the victims would have been his own kith and kin.

They said there is no merit in choosing such politicians to the elite body of the state. It is evident that 45 people have lost their lives in the recent Volvo mishap at Palem near Mahabubnagar on October, 30.

The government officials and the transport minister has given a very strong response to the mishap and promised many assurances to the families of the victims but to no avail.

The vexed family members saw no other option rather than attacking the transport minister’s home and to protest over there.
