KTR demands T Bill in winter session

Hyderabad: Demanding the Centre to introduce Telangana Bill in winter session of parliament, TRS legislator K Tarakarama Rao said that creation of Rayala Telangana would spell doom for the Congress party in 10 districts of the region.

Addressing press at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, KTR said that by observing a complete shutdown in 10 districts, the Telangana community conveyed a clear message that they want a separate State with 10 districts including Hyderabad, Bhadrachalam and Munagala.

He further stated that TRS would confront the Congress party in the upcoming winter session of the Assembly if any anti-Telangana decision was taken.

Replying to a query, he opined that exit poll results of five states, where Assembly elections were held few days ago, were along expected lines. The outcome in any way would not affect Telangana process since the main opposition party (referring to BJP) was supporting the Telangana statehood demand, he said.
