Amidst the strong ruckus, Speaker of the state assembly, Nadendla Manohar adjourned the house immediately after the commencing and called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC). The meet was presupposed to decide the time and modalities for the debate on Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill 2013, which was tabled on Monday in the state assembly. Even before the commencing of the house, the leaders from either region surrounded the speaker’s podium and chanted varied slogans.

When the bill was tabled in the state assembly on Monday, different reactions were seen from the leaders of various political parties. While the leaders of Telangana region unanimously welcomed the move of the speaker, the leaders from Seemandhra region destroyed the copies of the T-bill, showing their dissent.
It is worth mentioning here that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy abstained from assembly on Monday, when the crucial bill was tabled in the assembly.
Few political analysts are of the opinion that it was a deliberate move from the Chief Minister’s end. It is worth mentioning here that the chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has been opposing the state bifurcation from the time the CWC has passed the resolution for the bifurcation of the state on July, 30.
