T Cong leaders not willing to work under CM: Sridhar Babu, Anti-Telangana attitude, Telangana Bill. The Minister addressed a huge gathering at the ‘Telangana Brahmana Ikyatha Sadassu’ held under the aegis of Telangana Brahmana Sanghala JAC here on Sunday.

Warangal: Telangana Congress leaders were not ready to work anymore under Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy because of his anti-Telangana attitude, said Minister for Civil Supplies D Sridhar Babu.

The CM has refused to discuss Telangana Bill in the Assembly and was challenging the party high command on the issue. But the party high command was firm on formation of separate State and the Telangana leaders have full confidence in the party chief Sonia Gandhi, he said.

The Minister addressed a huge gathering at the ‘Telangana Brahmana Ikyatha Sadassu’ held under the aegis of Telangana Brahmana Sanghala JAC here on Sunday. The meeting was held in the backdrop of taking away of Legislative Affairs portfolio from Sridhar Babu.

Referring to the demand of extending the duration of the ongoing Assembly session for conducting debate on the Bill, the Minister said it was an attempt to delay the introduction of Telangana Bill in the next Parliament session.

Great conspiracies were being hatched to stall the ongoing separate Telangana process and seeking more time to debate was one of them. Nevertheless none could stop the formation of Telangana now and its creation was imminent.

The Seemandhra leaders should understand the reality and allow the bill to be sent to parliament as per schedule. He alleged that some leaders were engaged in mudslinging at him and other Telangana ministers like B Saraiah.

“We are working as per the party directions and will take any amount of humiliation for the statehood cause,” Sridhar Babu noted.

Steps would be taken for the development of 14,800 temples across the region as soon the Telangana state was created, he said.
