Medak: Sangareddy MLA and Government Whip Turpu Jayaprakash Reddy said on Monday that he would speak in favour of a unified State in the ongoing Assembly debate on the Telangana Bill.
Speaking at a party workers’ meeting in PSR Gardens at Sangareddy, the MLA said that he would express his opinion freely when he gets a chance to speak on the issue.
The Government Whip urged party workers to resist the TRS ‘attempts’ to destroy his banners and prevent burning of effigies.
He alleged that TRS chief KCR and his family were trying to gain political mileage of the Telangana issue and were seeking statehood for personal benefit.
