Hyderabad: President Pranab Mukherjee is learnt to have agreed to give one week extension to the Assembly to complete discussion on the Draft T Bill. This information was received by the members while Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy was making his speech on the Bill late on Wednesday evening.
It is understood that the Union Home Ministry had recommended that the President give 10 more days of time, but the President decided to give one week to the Assembly. The official announcement in this regard is likely to be made on Thursday.
