Says they are competing with each other to displace tribals for construction of Polavaram project

Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha accused Seemandhra politicians of competing with each other to displace lakhs of tribals for the construction of Polavaram irrigation project. She appealed to them not to play with the lives of tribals.

Addressing a press conference at her residence here on Sunday, Kavitha called upon the Centre to come to the rescue of 'Kondareddy' tribe, which would be seriously affected with the construction of the project. She informed that the Telangana Jagruthi delegation would soon leave for national capital to meet key leaders of various national parties and seek their cooperation for creation of ‘Sampoorna Telangana’.

Kavitha also charged TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu with touring the length and breadth of the country only to stall the Telangana State formation process. Only because of him, even the BJP was reportedly speaking in a different voice, which was evident from the statements made by its leader M Venkaiah Naidu, she added.
