We would like to thank the Election Commission for implementing the Section 135(B) of Representation of People Act, 1951 and urging all the companies to give Paid Holiday. At the Labor Department has played an important role in creating awareness on how important the voting right it and by sending regular letters to IT firms informing of the legal actions applicable if the company if open on polling day. – Sundeep Kumar Makthala, TITA Founder & President

We would like to convey our special Thanks to all the IT firms, both big and small for abiding by the rules of Election commission and declaring a paid holiday for its employees. It has been bought to out notice that some companies running in the 24X7 environment have not announced the holiday and are giving 2 hour permission for its employees to cast their vote. We hope they understand the importance of the Voting day and at least be lenient on the employees who cannot come to office for voting purpose. – Sundeep Kumar Makthala, TITA Founder & President

As per our source, more than 60% of IT employees cast their vote. The remaining 25- 30% of IT employees from Telangana are working in different locations such as Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida etc. and would be unable to utilize their Voting Right. In this Aspect, TITA has Suggested and provided a representation to CEO Bhanwar Lal requesting to consider alternate Voting facilities , such as Postal Voting, Voting thru remote servers, Online Voting. This would be very helpful and we can expect a 100% Voting from IT employees. We Thank CEO Bhanwar Lal for considering our request and Taking the issue to Principal Secretary of Election Commission of India on a Priority Basis, we hope it will be a reality at least by next election. – Sundeep Kumar Makthala, TITA Founder & President

We are happy to be a Part of this election and proud that we have done our part by casting our vote to Choose the first government of Telangana. – Sundeep Kumar Makthala, TITA Founder & President
