The final day of poll campaigning has been finished at 4 p.m. on Monday for Wednesday elections in Seemandhra. Amidst the actions and counteractions, the campaigning process has been completed. Bowing to the instructions issued by the Election Commission no party or supporter of any party should not involve in any sort of campaigning from 4 p.m. on Monday till the elections process concludes on 6 p.m. on Wednesday in Seemandhra.

From the other end, all is set ready for elections in all 25 Lok Sabha constituencies and 175 assembly constituencies in Seemandhra. By now, all the arrangements have been done for the Wednesday’s elections. Security has been beefed up at all the polling stations. For Lok Sabha fray there are as many as 333 candidates in the race, while for the assembly there are 2,243 members in the fight.

A huge sum of Rs.140 cr in unaccounted cash has been seized during the ongoing assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh so far, according to the sources. The state accounts for more than half share in the Rs.272cr seized across the country. Apart from this, the police have also seized five lakh litres of liquor till last Saturday.
