RTC bus hits Lorry; 2 dies

Hyderabad: On Friday morning, an RTC bus was thumped by a lorry in a head-on collision happened on the Rajiv Highway at Kukunuripalli of Kondapaka mandal in Medak district. In this accident, while two persons died on the spot, 15 others sustained insensitive injuries. The RTC bus belongs to Vemulavada depot was on its way to Hyderabad, while the lorry was on its way to Karimnagar at that time when this accident took place. The victims have been rushed to a nearby hospital with the help of the local people. A case has been booked by the police and is investigating the case. More details are awaited.
