First Double Decker train service begins

Hyderabad: The first Double Decker train service began at Kacheguda early on Tuesday at 5.30 a.m., as scheduled and left for Guntur. The first 500 passengers who availed the services were seen excited and were engrossed in capturing the images in their mobile phones.

The train service was given the green signal by the senior most employee of the SCR by showing the green flag. Sambasiva Rao, the CEO of south central railway addressed the media and said that it was a historical day in SCR’s history. He said the Railways have been modernising as desired by the public. Apart from CPRO, many other officials travelled by this train on Tuesday.
