Hyderabad: The Chennai-Hyderabad Express has been robbed by the thieves. The miscreants have snatched necklaces from as many as 15 women. This incident has taken place at Piduguralla in Guntur district. The victims have made a complaint with the GRP police station in Secunderabad. More details are awaited.
Nowadays, the robbery in the trains has been increasing. It is worth recollecting that in a similar incident that happened in Prakasam district, the thieves have robbed the trains at Singarayakonda Railway Station, midnight on Sunday. They created uproar by robbing as many as three trains late on Sunday night. As the route is being repaired, the trains have been running slow on the tracks. This has become gainful to the robbers. The passengers have been robbed in Yashwanthpur, Sheshadri express and Simhapuri express trains. The thieves have robbed gold and cash from many passengers.
