It is understood that the Speaker of the Telangana Assembly S Madhusdhan Chary felt that having two Assemblies on common premises was not proper as it would not only lead to problems like finding adequate space for the Ministers and MLAs but would also create security and other logistics problems.

According to sources, Madhusudhana Chary suggested that it would be better if the AP Assembly was held in Jubilee Hall. Both the Speakers are said to have expressed their unhappiness over the manner in which the two Assembly buildings were divided. No proper exercise was done to assess the requirements and the problems likely to arise, if both the Assemblies were within the same premises, they are believed to have felt. However, both the Speakers decided to meet again in July to take a final decision on the issue.
