Overloaded school bus overturns in Duvvur, kids safe

An overcrowded school bus overturned near Sangati Dimmayapalle in Duvvurumandal of Kadapa district. Thanks to the help from localities, the children escaped unhurt.

It is learnt that the private school bus with a capacity to carry 60 kids was actually carrying 20 more which led to overload of the bus. The mishap was averted when the school bus was dropping kids back home. One of the front tyres of the bus lost balance after it entered a narrow path.

The alarmed kid screamed for help and that is when those in the vicinity who heard the cries rushed to the rescue. The glass window panes were broken and kids safely ejected out. A complaint against the school has been registered for flouting traffic rules and allowing bus overload.
