Hyderabad: A few reprobates created a commotion at Hemawathi of Amarapuram Mandal in Ananthapur district. They have destroyed the idols and robbed 45kg silver ornaments and also lifted the donation box (Hundi). The police who was informed by the police rushed the spot and booked a case. They have been investigating the case. More details are awaited.

It is worth recollecting that in a similar case, few unidentified thieves have robbed the silver ornaments from the Chilukuru Abhayanjaneya temple in Nalgonda district. This incident has come into the notice of the committee members of the temple when they opened the temple on the day that followed.

The estimated cost of the silver ornaments is approximately Rs 1L. Also, it is to be recollected that a heist happened at the Sai Baba temple of Ramanthapur in Hyderabad, a few days before. The robberies have been increasing in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over a period of time. The thieves find no difference between the trains and temples. Everything remains fair for their robbery. It is worth recollecting that the robbers have created a commotion in many trains in the recent past.
