Bollywood icon, ’Amitabh Bachchan will be the brand Ambassador for health sector in Andhra Pradesh. Announcing this here on Tuesday Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said the Big B had given his consent to be the brand Ambassador and he would be participating in various health-related campaigns to be taken up by the government.
Hyderabad: Bollywood icon, ’Amitabh Bachchan will be the brand Ambassador for health sector in Andhra Pradesh. Announcing this here on Tuesday Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said the Big B had given his consent to be the brand Ambassador and he would be participating in various health-related campaigns to be taken up by the government. Amitabh, according to the minister, will not take any remuneration for the services he would be rendering to the state as its health brand ambassador.
Earlier, AP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu had a meeting with a delegation of prominent doctors, medical and health experts and discussed the draft health policy and changes that need to be brought in medical and health sector. Responding positively to the suggestion of the delegation, Naidu said the government was positive on encouraging the superspeciality hospitals in the state. They could be established either by trusts or by private partnership.
