AP bans real estate ventures in capital region
Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, in a press statement here on Sunday, made it very clear that no real estate venture would be allowed until the State government came up with a design and blue print for the capital region.
Guntur: Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, in a press statement here on Sunday, made it very clear that no real estate venture would be allowed until the State government came up with a design and blue print for the capital region.
The region would be divided into multiple development zones and only after the blue print was made public, the government would permit real estate ventures, he said. The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) was only authorised to approve layouts for real estate ventures in the capital region, the statement said.
He further said all unauthorised structures would be demolished by the CRDA. As many as 150 illegal layouts were already razed to the ground. Cases would be booked against promoters, the Minister cautioned. He said that several ventures were promoted overnight by laying temporary roads. He cautioned the people not get swayed by expensive brochures being brought out on ventures by promoters.
