Hawk eye on Hyderabad IT Cos breeding Terrorism?

Are the IT companies in Hyderabad breeding grounds of terrorism ? While Police no, many intelligence networks of US and Europe watching terrorist space say that many programists and recruitees are emanating from Hyderabad . They say many IT units were soft peddling terrorism in the garb of religious propagation .

IT companies , which are emerging as mushrooms in many parts of Hyderabad ( not just Gachibowli or IT corridor of Manikonda) have come under monitor of some intelligence satellites and also state agencies for handling projects whth terrorist tones - awareness and spread of Jihadi concept .

While many companies say they were just working our job orders for campaign on religious themes and were not into jihad or terrorist acts, the security agencies are not giving them a clean chit .There were hundred small time companies which are working on projects like promotion of several religious schools of Roman Catholics, Islamic schools and also Hindu , Jewish and Buddhist propagation .

While the security agencies are not averse to such tech projects for religion promotions, they were only concerned over a mushroom of such projects being located in Hyderabad and some small time south indian centres like Coimbatore, Salem , Kottayam , Alawaye , Gulbarga, Hubli ,Warangal and also Bidar .

' These are small units of 10 to 20 techies with projects to propagate religious themes ' they say . Police suspect that in the garb of religious and social projects, the companies were indirectly promoting terrorist activities and functioning as their sleeping cells . However some company heads say that they have no control over their employees doing off work hours or their social media activities .

After few instance of city based techies caught indulging in Terrorist related activities, Cyderabad Police have alerted IT companies to keep a tab on their employees if they are accessing terror-related information on the internet. It is found that the techies who were arrested were in touch with the ISIS bosses in Syria and Iraq even from their office systems during the work hours.

Many IT firms already have systems in place to block the social networking sites. Police department reportedly warned them to ban the access to social networking groups associated with Iraq, Syria, Pakistan and other terror-hit countries. However there are no written orders in this aspect as there is no blanket ban on such networks by Government of India as was done in China and Korea and other Asian countries
