Chandrababu\'s cost cutting drive: Fewer government staff? Based on the population rather than nativity, the government employees need to be divided between the two states is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s request to the Centre.

After the bifurcation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, everything was headed to being normal. But now, yet another confrontation is coming forward over the division of employees.

Based on the population rather than nativity, the government employees need to be divided between the two states is Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s request to the Centre.

Chandrababu Naidu opined that the based on the population ratio – 58:42, the assets between the two states were divided but the employees were divided on nativity factor resulting in AP being loaded with excess staff.

Currently, 5000 employees from Telangana are working for AP in Hyderabad. Hence if the division is based on population, the allotment would be properly divided between the two states and the burden for AP that is facing financial crisis is spared of the burden of paying salaries concluded Chandrababu Naidu.
