He protested in front of the Collectorate, calling upon the BJP leaders to honour their commitment to grant the special category status to the State. Anantaiah told the media that people of the State were facing hardship because of the faulty action of the Congress party in diving Andhra Pradesh. He urged the BJP leaders to stand by their assurances of implementing the promises made by the Centre.
