Ravela Kishore BabuHyderabad: Minister for Social Welfare Ravela Kishore Babu came down heavily on MLAs and MLCs of the Congress and YSRCP for disturbing the proceeding of Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. The Minister said Opposition leaders were not concerned about discussing the issues related to public.

He asserted that the government was ready to discuss any issue in both Houses and questioned Jaganmohan Reddy whether his party was ready to discuss issues of Vanpic case, Obalapurm mining and Bayyaram mining.

Taking exception to remarks made by YSRCP president, Jaganmohan Reddy that he would create ugly scenes, Kishore Babu said, “Post bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is striving hard to put things on track. In 14th Finance Commission, the Central government had assured of Rs 22,000 crore for the State.

This amount will come in four years. Rome was not built overnight. It would take some time for building the new capital.”The Minister said while international and domestic investors were looking at the State for investment, the Congress and the YSRC were putting hurdles for development.

Government Chief Whip Nannapaneni Rajakumari asked the Congress leaders why they could not question their party leadership when injustice was being meted out to AP during the bifurcation and why they were rising issues now.She stated that Oppositions leaders were intentionally disrupting the proceeding of the House.
