Chandrababu appoints TTD board and chairman

After a gap of an year, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has now got a board of its own with Chadalavada Krishnamurthy former TDP MLA of Tirupati as its chairman. AP CM Chandababu Naidu has made the selection few hours before his China trip tonight. Besides appointment of Chairman, the Chief Minister also nominated 18 member TTD board with representation to representatives from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and also Telangana.

Besides appointment of Chairman, the Chief Minister also nominated 18 member TTD board with representation to representatives from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and also Telangana. The TTD board headed by K Bapiraju was disbanded by Chandababu Naidu after he took over in 2014 ahead of the annual Brahmotsavam. Chadalavada selection came in spite of the stiff competition given by TDP MP of Narasaraopeta Rayapeati Sambashiv Rao.
