A two-judge bench of the High Court at Hyderabad comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta and Justice P.V.Sanjay Kumar again heard inconclusively the matter relating to separate High Courts for the two states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The bench permitted groups of advocates to be impleaded in the matter to place their views on various aspects such as bifurcation, whether two High Courts can function in the same premises as well as the new location of the courts.

It may be recalled that the bench is dealing with a letter written by Dhangopal Rao as a petition. The bench heard at length the Advocates General of the twin states and the Assistant Solicitor General. The bench directed the counsels who requested to be impleaded in the case to file their respective briefs on Wednesday and adjourned the matter.
