Actor Sivaji has resorted to unique protest demanding the Central Government to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh.
He staged a protest along with his followers by standing in Krishna waters near Indrakiladri temple in Vijayawada.
Holding placards that read 'Don't dip AP in waters', he warned that he would embark on fast-unto-death to achieve special status if necessary.
Speaking to the media, he asked the Centre to not go back on the Special status as incorporated in the AP Re-organisation Act.
He demanded Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to come forward and fight for Special status.
Responding on the Soma Virraju's comments, the actor said "Is Soma Veerraju known to the public? Who is he to talk about me. Kamineni Srinivas and I joined the BJP on the same day. Kamineni is also not in the BJP, If I am not there," he said.
