Telugu Desam Party Urban minority leader of Andhra Pradesh, Md. Fataullah said that the people would not tolerate fascist and Hindu fundamentalism of the Shiv Sena.
He said TDP was opposed to such acts of fanaticism and fundamentalism be it VHP or Shiv Sena or even Bhajarang Dal. "My leader Chandrababu Naidu had opposed even the Godhra Killings and appealed to the then PM Atal Behari Vajpayee to sack the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi," he said.
