The police attempts to shift the actor to a hospital was met with resistance from the actor’s supporters and in the end the police had to forcibly managed to shift him to an ambulance which carried him to the hospital.
The hunger strike camp was overcome with tension as Sivaji’s fans blocked the roads in protest against the attitude of both the state and the central governments towards the AP Special Status. Sivaji also a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) began his hunger strike on May 3 and vowed to continue the fast till the Centre fulfills its promise.
Various organization leaders including YSR Congress Party had backed Sivaji’s protest and declared their support for the issue.
