TDP MLA stages dharna at Mahanadu event

TDP senior leader and MLA Gouthu Shyam Sunder Shivaji had to face major embarrassment when the police denied him entry to TDP's prestigious Mahanadu that began in Hyderabad today.

The three day conclave by TDP began on Wednesday at Gandipet on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

According to reports, the police stopped him near the stage. Arguments broke out between the MLA and the police. Angered at not being allowed inside and the police behavior towards him, the TDP MLA staged a protest on the road. TDP MP Siva Prasad soon settled the issue and convinced the MLA to call of the protest.
