Venkaiah Naidu faces students ire in Tirupati over AP Special status

Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu had to face a few embarrassing moments at the SV university in Tirupati when several students raised slogans against him over the denial of special status to Andhra Pradesh.

The incident occurred when the union minister was about to start his speech after distributing certificates to the students. Holding placards, the students accused Venkaiah Naidu of failing to get special status to the state of Andhra Pradesh. When Venkiah Naidu's attempt to pacify the students failed, police arrested the students.
