Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh Express bearing the train number 12723/12724 Hyderabad-New Delhi-Hyderabad would be renamed Telangana Express from November 15 as stated in a South Central Railway press release. The announcement came after almost a year since the new State of Telangana came into existence. The decision was welcomed by the academicians and politicians from different parties of Telangana region.
