Minister for Agriculture Pratipati Pulla Rao said eleven marketing yards in the State would be provided with e-marketing facility to benefit both the farmers and customers and also assured more rythu bazaars in the State.The Minister said that e-marketing would be introduced in Anakapalle, Guntur, Eluru, Duggirala, Kadapa, Hindupur, Kalyana-durgam, Yemiganuru, Kurnool, Adoni and Gudur and a few more will be added in the second phase.

Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao addressing a news conference at the Sub-Collector’s office in Vijayawada on Thursday.Vijayawada: Minister for Agriculture Pratipati Pulla Rao said eleven marketing yards in the State would be provided with e-marketing facility to benefit both the farmers and customers and also assured more rythu bazaars in the State.The Minister said that e-marketing would be introduced in Anakapalle, Guntur, Eluru, Duggirala, Kadapa, Hindupur, Kalyana-durgam, Yemiganuru, Kurnool, Adoni and Gudur and a few more will be added in the second phase.

He inspected the onion shops at Swaraj Maidan Rythu  Bazaar here on Thursday along with Penamaluru MLA Bode Prasad, Pedakurapadu MLA K Sridhar, agricultural market committee chairman J Gopalakrishna and Commissioner of Marketing B Kishore.


The Minister said that the State government has been supplying onions at Rs 20 a kg bearing Rs 20 subsidy. He said that new rythu bazaars were proposed at S Kota in Visakapatnam district, Mandapeta in East Godavari, Chilakaluripet in Guntur and Kuchipudi in Krishna district.
