TDP Minister Narayana at the receiving end in Nellore

A visit to oversee the works of Telugu Ganga project in his own district Nellore turned out to be a stormy affair for minister Narayana on Tuesday when women began venting their ire on the minister over their problems.

Raising slogans against the TDP government, several women squatted in front of the minister showing empty vessels. They staged a dharna demanding that the minister solve drinking water problem.

Narayana assured the women that his government will soon solve their problems, but to no avail. Later, he spoke to district officials over the phone and asked them to solve the issues at the earliest.
