Tirupati: TDP senior leader and MLC G Muddukrishnama Naidu strongly objected YSRCP president and Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy accusing Chief Minister of grabbing lands from farmers for capital city development. Speaking to media persons here on Thursday,
Muddukrishnama Naidu alleged that Jagan and his family occupied large extent of lands from the farmers in Idupulapaya and other places in Kadapa during YSR’s regime. He wanted Jagan to return those lands first.He said that Jaganmohan Reddy is making wild allegations on the land acquisition as he unable to take-in the success of the government in getting lands from the farmers.
Criticising Jagan for his assurance of returning the lands to the farmers if his government voted to power, Naidu said he is deliberately inciting the farmers to stop the government from going ahead with the capital city construction. He slammed the YSRCP for calling State bandh on August 29 and said that the party is hell bent on getting maximum political mileage on the special status issue and is really not interested in the welfare of the people.
