A 40-year-old allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house in Sriramapuram colony in Gudivada town in Krishna district demanding special category status for Andhra Pradesh on Friday.
Udaya Bhanu left a suicide note in his trouser. He is the son of Telugu Desam President for women's wing for Gudivada town Sandhya Rani.
In another incident, a youth died of heart attack over the delay in AP being granted special status. The deceased has been identified as Lokesh and he belonged to C.Belgal in Kurnool district.
He actively participated in the meetings that were called to discuss the special status issue.
