Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the development story of Iskandar Medini, Malaysia will serve as a learning experience for Andhra Pradesh in constructing Amaravati as a world-class people’s capital.

During a presentation by a delegation from the Iskandar Medini Development Authority, Malaysia, upon his arrival in Singapore at 6pm local time, the Chief Minister was informed about the efforts they have put in to develop the $300-million infrastructure.

As part of developing a media village, Medini Iskandar was able to attract the internationally renowned Pinewood Studios. Along with lifestyle areas, the village also houses international schools, and universities and business parks, the delegation told the visiting CM. Meanwhile, the delegation explained effective practices to strengthen the legal framework on land title and transfer, security and crime prevention.

Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, P Narayana, Advisor (Communications) Parakala Prabhakar, Special Chief Secretary (Planning) S P Tucker, Principal Secretary to CM Satish Chandra, Principal Secretary Finance P V Ramesh, CRDA Commissioner N Srikanth and other senior officials were present.
