AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday extended support to YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's indefinite hunger strike demanding special category status to AP.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, the Congress leader said that though they have differences with YS Jagan, they would work together for special status.
He also criticized AP Chief Minister Chandrababu for not fighting for the special status.
Meanwhile, YS Jagan has sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the special status issue. The YSRCP reportedly sent a letter with regard to this.
