Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will meet his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao at 5.30 pm on Sunday to invite him for the foundation ceremony of Amravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will meet his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekar Rao at 5.30 pm on Sunday to invite him for the foundation ceremony of Amravati, the new capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu would return to Hyderabad on Sunday evening after the Annaprasana ceremony of his grandson Devansh in Tirupati. He would then call on the Governor ESL Narsimhan at 5 pm and formally invite him for the ceremony. He would then drive straight to KCR’s camp office.

Meanwhile, a group of Ministers consisting of Kamineni Srinivas and Ch Ayanna Patrudu called on Deputy Speaker of the Telangana Legislative Assembly Padma Devender Reddy, leader of Opposition in Telangana Assembly K Jana Reddy, leader of Opposition in Council Shabbir Ali, APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy as well as film actor and Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan.

All the Telangana leaders wished the function a success and most of them including the Deputy Speaker said that they would attend the function in October 22. Pawan Kalyan said he too wanted to participate in the ceremony and would try to reach Amaravati on that day.

He said he would be in Gujarat shooting of a film on that day but still would try to make it. Despite Jagan’s refusal to meet the AP Ministers, Kamineni Srinivas said they had made yet another attempt on Saturday and sought appointment to handover the invitation. If Jagan gives time, they would go and invite him.
