After attending APNGOs’ executive meeting here on Sunday, Ashok Babu said that the government should take steps to shift the priority departments before the next academic year for the convenience of employees. He said that the employees are ready to extend their cooperation for the development of new capital.

Ashok Babu said that meeting also discussed over delay in issuing several GOs regarding PRC and said several employees who retired from service last year are suffering due to delay in issuing GOs revising the pay scales of pensioners.

The NGOs leader said that the government should regularise the contract employees immediately. He said around one lakh contract employees were working in various departments. Ashok said that the government should extend the nativity facility to the Central government employees and others on par with State government employees.

The NGOs leader said that if the government shift the pay and accounts office from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation would get around Rs 4 crore per annum through professional tax. He said that association state council meeting would be conducted in Srikakulam in February 2016 to discuss at length various issues of employees.

Association state general secretary N Chandrasekara Reddy said over 120 directorates were present in Hyderabad and the government should take steps to shift the priority departments at first.

Secretariat employees’ association president R Luke said that several people are spreading false reports that employees are reluctant but staff are ready for shifting and government should provide necessary infrastructure. JAC leaders A Vidyasagar and others were present.
