Tirupati: Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandababu Naidu stressed on ensuring effective coordination between the administration and party units in the districts.

Addressing the party activists on the concluding day of the State general body meeting here on Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu wanted the district party presidents and the in-charge Ministers (of the districts) to work in tandem for the coordination of the party and the administration in the district.

“As Chief Minister and party head I am responsible for ensuring coordination between the party and administration at State-level to deliver goods. Similarly, I expect the party district president and in-charge Minister to work together.’’ he averred.

Naidu wanted the party activists to strive hard to solve the people’s problems.

“You should keep track of the petitions submitted to Janmabhoomi Committee and also to the officials to resolve them instead of confining just to the petitions you receive,’’ ’ he told the party workers while exhorting them to play a pro-active role in enhancing the party image among the public.

Stating that such State-level conclave (Disa-Nirdesa Sadassu) will be held once in three months, the TDP chief urged the party workers to strive to build up the party from village, mandal to district level to make it an invincible force.

He also asked them to play an active role in taking the government schemes to the people for their meaningful implementation and also help the party fulfill all its promises made to the people.

He directed the party leaders to shun their inhibitions and mingle with the activists. He said, “ TDP is like a family and we all work and move together.”

During his hour-long speech, Naidu acted more like a teacher and gave tips to the workers to become active for the sake of the party and government.

Party sources said that during the two-day meet, the activists formed into three groups and held discussions on various issues and also organisational matters, in various sessions held in camera.

Meanwhile, party national secretary, Nara Lokesh turned into a major attraction in the conclave. Many young leaders were seen vying to converse with him. Later, the Chief Minister attended the Pratibha Puraskaralu function in Tirupati.
