TDP leaders express shock over murder of Chittoor Mayor

Chittoor Mayor Katari Anuradha's brutal death has left everyone shocked. While the attack left the mayor dead, her husband - senior TDP leader Katari Mohan was seriously injured at the premises of the Chittoor Municipal Corporation office.

TDP MP Shiva Prasad expressed shock over the heinous incident while MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu condemned attack saying that the couple were sincere members of the Telugu Desam Party and observed that Anuradha was doing good work in Chittoor Corporation. He also said that though the hired goons were the ones who attack the Katari couple but the people behind the attack were somewhere in the district itself.
TDP leader Bonda Umamaheshwar Rao also condemned the shootout and mentioned that it is the first time a woman has been killed so mercilessly. The TDP leader said that he suspects the rival parties hand in the attack.
