Pidugurala (Guntur): A lorry and RTC bus coming from opposite directions collided head-on at Jampad village on Sunday noon near Pidugurala killing four women and a child on the spot, while 10 others suffered injuries.
Four women and a 10-year-old child travelling along with the marriage party in the lorry were killed. The lorry was carrying a marriage party coming from Karampudi village and was going towards Pidugurala. The cause for the collision is still unknown and the deceased are yet to be identified. Pidugurala police rushed to the spot and removed the injured persons to the government hospital at Pidugurala.
