Srikakulam: One can gain knowledge by reading books, opined Srikakulam MLA G Laxmidevi. She inaugurated a book exhibition at Visalandhra Book House here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, she suggested to the students to read more books to improve knowledge and reach good positions in their careers. Exhibition and sales of books at a discount price is a good activity to promote readership, said joint collector P Rajanikantha Rao. Demand for books is on the rise despite presence of internet, cell phones and televisions he said.
