Vijayawada: The State government would organise Jana Chaitanya Yatralu from December 1 to 14. The cabinet which met here on Monday decided to conduct these programmes in every village during those 14 days.
Briefing the newspersons after the Cabinet meeting, the Minister for Information and Public Relations,
Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that the officials, elected representatives, members of the Janma Bhoomi committees would organise the programme in every village. They would meet every family member and collect information on their problems, representations and even feedback on the government.
The petitions collected from the people would be taken up during the next round of Janma Bhoomi programme scheduled to be held from January 1, 2016, the Minister said. He further added that the people were happy with Janma Bhoomi,
Mee Intiki-Mee Bhoomi programmes that have addressed several of their pending problems. The Jana Chaitanya Yatralu would also help them to apprise their problems with the officials and elected representatives visiting their home.
