Five poor families in East Godavari District on Thursday night suffered a huge loss during the New Year celebrations as five youngsters were electrocuted. The five boys were fixing a flexi of their favourite hero, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan on the occasion of New Year and got electrocuted when they came in to contact with live wires in two separate incidents in the district.
Four others sustained injuries when they tried to bring down their friends from the poll and have been admitted to the hospital. The incidents occurred at Maredubaka village of Mandapeta mandal and Vadisaleru village in Rangamepta mandal.
