Farmer ends life over mounting debts

A farmer committed suicide at Narsipuram village in Nandigama mandal on Friday. According to Nandigama sub-inspector Nagaraju, the deceased was identified as Konni Harish (25). On December 28, 2015, Harish had a tiff with his parents and left the house on December 29.
Srikakulam: A farmer committed suicide at Narsipuram village in Nandigama mandal on Friday. According to Nandigama sub-inspector Nagaraju, the deceased was identified as Konni Harish (25). On December 28, 2015, Harish had a tiff with his parents and left the house on December 29.
On Friday, he committed suicide by consuming pesticide as he was disturbed due to tiff with his parents over mounting debts due to crop loss. Locals saw Harish at their field in a critical state and he died while being shifted to the government area hospital in Tekkali. Police registered a case and took up investigation.
